Biography

Self-taught artist/sculptor. Carter has worked primarily in marble, terracotta, plaster and stone sculpture. He also works in relief, both colour and pure white in painted wood and card. Much of his work has resulted from commissions although he has also exhibited at the Royal Academy, London; Royal West of England Academy, Bristol; Campden Gallery, Chipping Campden; Steps Gallery, Bristol; Wine Street Gallery, Devizes and many other west of England galleries. He has also been included in a number of Art Fairs in London and elsewhere, including Islington, London and Battersea Art Fair, London. Much of his sculptural work is designed for outdoors.
